Inspired by the dynamic energy of artistic culture, where style, sound and movement merge effortlessly, our journey began with a simple commitment to crafting pieces that speak about who we are and what we are willing to be. Backstory

Hey, I’m Z—co-founder of Azure Thread.

Thought it’d be nice to share the story of how we got here.

This all started in a way neither of us planned. Leeqs and I grew up together but lost touch in our teens—life just took us in different directions.

Years later, at some random party, we reconnected. It was like we’d come full-circle, one of those moments where you realise the people meant to be in your life always find their way back and it almost feels like they never left.

We got to talking, reminiscing about old times, and somewhere between the music and the nostalgia, we realised we shared the same two loves—fashion and music.


I had always wanted to make my own clothes. Leeqs had always wanted to start a business and what started as casual conversation quickly turned into something real.

What if we did this together?

What if we built something bigger than just clothes?

Something that embodied the culture we grew up in—the way music and fashion have always intertwined to tell stories, make statements, and create movements.


Soooooo, Azure Thread was born.


But this isn’t just about making clothes. We want to write fashion films, start a magazine, shoot over-the-top content—all for the sake of art, culture, and a dream. We don’t know how far we’ll make it, but if even one person out there resonates with our vision and joins us for the ride, then it’ll all be worth it.
